LA COLMENA

FOR ORGANIZATIONS AT A TURNING POINT

NO THOUGHT LEADERSHIP.

JUST THINKING.

LINES OF FLIGHT

A pause to think about what
we’re building ––
and whether we should.

LINES OF FLIGHT

A pause to think about what
we’re building ––
and whether we should.

We use Technology every day. We see its value.
We’re also troubled by what it’s doing—to work, to attention, to power, to the way we think.

This is not a contradiction. It’s an honest position.

Lines of Flight is a space for those who refuse to choose between technological enthusiasm and technological critique. Who believe that building the future requires questioning it. Who understand that design is never neutral—it encodes values, distributes power, and shapes what becomes possible.

BELIEFS

1.

Every system is a map of someone’s desires. The question is: whose?

2.

Optimization is not a natural law. It’s a choice.

3.

Critique is not opposition. It’s a condition for building something worth building.

4.

Design can be a power for good–but only if we take responsibility.
