LA COLMENA

FOR ORGANIZATIONS AT A TURNING POINT

NO THOUGHT LEADERSHIP.

JUST THINKING.

LINES OF FLIGHT

A pause to think about what
we’re building ––
and whether we should.

LINES OF FLIGHT

A pause to think about what
we’re building ––
and whether we should.

We shape the future through technology, design, and strategy.
We see their value. We’re also troubled by what they leave unquestioned—assumptions about progress, about efficiency, about what counts as good.

This is not a contradiction. It’s an honest position.

Lines of Flight is a space for those who refuse to separate making from thinking. Who believe that building the future requires questioning it. Who understand that technology is never neutral, that design is never innocent, and that strategy is never just execution—each encodes values, distributes power, and shapes what becomes possible.

BELIEFS

1.

Every system is a map of someone’s desires. The question is: whose?

2.

What passes for inevitable is usually just unquestioned.

3.

Critique is not opposition. It’s a condition for building something worth building.

4.

Design is not decoration. It’s a decision about what the future looks like.
